Brian DaCunha BS,CMT, CSCS
Brian earned his B.S. from the University of Florida. While attending the University of Florida Brian competed on their Track and Field Team as a Pole Vaulter. He was a four year Letter Winner, a South Eastern Conference Indoor Champion, an Eastern Regional Champion, and a NCAA Division I All-American. Brian is still training and competing in the Pole Vault. He recently moved to California to continue training full time with coach Dan Pfaff and Tri Valley Athletics in Stockton. Brian has qualified for the 2008 Summer Olympic Trials in the Pole Vault. Training and competing at a high level has exposed Brian to many experiences that can benefit his clients. He has studied with and received work from many great therapists.
Brian passed the National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and became a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Florida. Brian has over 930 hours of training in massage therapy and over 4 years experience as a personal trainer. He has acquired and used many different techniques to help clients reach their goals. When he is able to approach a client with such a wide range of treatment options the actual problem will be identified and treated, not just the symptoms being treated. This is obviously the most effective way to treat pain and prevent a reoccurrence of pain. He is currently a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a Certified Massage Therapist with a Sports Therapy Certification.
